30-Day Trial: Daily Journaling

I wanted to update you on a new 30-day trial that I started late last week.

I have been blown away from the results so far…

I honestly don’t think my video gets across how well this daily journaling works.  If you sit down and you’re feeling crappy, and get ALL of the stuff out of your head, and elaborate on it (how you feel about it, what you can do about it, etc.) you start to get this awesome feeling inside of you.

It’s almost like, by doing this one thing, you’re able to control pretty much any emotion and get some perspective on it.

And here’s the kicker:

It’s so ridiculously easy.  I just open up a Word document and type away.  I don’t try to judge what’s coming out of my head, I just try to get it ALL OUT.

If you’re sitting there and thinking about something, literally type out the voice in your head, whatever it’s saying.  It will have some very profound effects on how you perceive your situation.  You’ll also start to get some surprise solutions that almost just bubble to the surface and end up in front of you on the document.

P.S. You can also password protect word documents if security is an issue for you.  I just find typing is MUCH quicker than writing, and that you’re able to get more of your thoughts out in a shorter amount of time which leads to more clarity.

P.P.S. Do it.

Hey Scott,

Great message! Journaling on a daily basis is an amazing tool to help you get through things and to have a place to put the story of your life. I was introduced to this by Robin Sharma and have been doing it for the past eight years. It is amazing to look back at them and see what has happened at different times in my life. I would suggest that writing it down using a pen and book adds even more value that using the computer. That has been my experience and I may be showing my age!

Thanks for sharing this with us all.

Make it a great day!
God Bless,

Thanks for stopping by Ed, I appreciate it. I’m a HUGE Robin Sharma fan, definitely enjoy what he does. I used to use a pen and paper, but using a computer helps get more out and stay in the flow of things. I can think a lot faster than I can write, and I can type about 5 times faster than I can write. But everyone is different!

Sounds like a great plan!
I’ve started doing something similar.
Writing down my accomplishments, what I’m thankful for and positive thoughts about myself every night before bed. I also come up with short-term goals to accomplish the next day. It’s only been 2 days so far, but the results are quite astonishing. I find that I’m much happier, more humbled and less hard on myself. I also get more done!

I’ve also kept a journal in the past and I found that I became more self aware and logical in my thought processes. I was able to be more objective and see situations clearly, for what they were and not what I perceived them to be.
